About me

My name is Katie. I am a qualified counsellor, and my role is to understand what life is like for you as we work collaboratively to make sense of your experiences.

I work in an Integrative way, which means I am trained in a range of therapeutic theories. This allows me to offer a bespoke approach tailored to your individual needs. These theories underpin my practice by helping you understand yourself and the way you see the world.

I draw from both my personal and professional experience to build a strong therapeutic relationship. This is key to achieving a positive outcome. The relationship is rooted in compassion and respect, so I can gently guide you through the process and to ensure your goals are met.

“A goal is not always meant to be reached it often serves simply as something to aim at”

How can I help?

Supportive and Personalised Care

Life can be challenging. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, unable to cope, or simply stuck in a rut. Talking to someone is an important first step toward restoring balance.

I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behavioural patterns. Therapy does not erase your difficulties, but by facing them, you can find meaning within them.

It doesn’t end suffering, but it transforms its language into a story about who you are, where you came from, and where you want to go.

Together, we can explore your situation in a way that leads to fresh perspectives and a deeper understanding of yourself.

Experience Personal Growth

My counselling sessions take place in a safe space where I listen with sensitivity and empathy. This promotes and enables you to speak honestly and freely, knowing I will uphold confidentiality.

Working together, I can help you gain deeper insight into the difficulties you’re facing and explore new, meaningful choices or fresh perspectives.

My role is not to fix you or tell you what to do. Counselling is not about giving solutions or advice, but about empowering you to make your own changes and develop a better relationship with yourself.

Walk & Talk Therapy

Walk & Talk therapy involves moving through natural spaces as part of the therapeutic process. Some people find indoor spaces confining and claustrophobic; walking outdoors can create a sense of freedom, grounding, and connection. It supports building relationships between client and counsellor, as well as between the client and nature.
